Writing Across the Curriculum (WAC)
Students Resources
Across the country and here at »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵ, Writing Across the Curriculum initiatives were designed with you in mind. Despite how it might have seemed in high school, writing at the college level is not a test. Rather, writing is a process of exploration, connection, articulation, and discovery. Writing helps you better remember, understand, and apply what you're learning - in your classes and off campus. Writing also helps you to clarify your thinking and to reflect with nuance and significance. But writing is also like learning a new language; you can often read, listen, and even talk about something with more confidence and sophistication than you might initially be able to write about. That's why your professors, the »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵ Writing Center, and other support staff are here for you!
