Your »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵ email uses Microsoft's junk mail filtering system to help keep unwanted emails out of your inbox. However, it occasionally will incorrectly mark important emails as "Junk" which may cause you to miss them if you aren't regularly checking your junk mail folder. This is why it is important to regularly check your junk folder, especially if you are expecting an important email and haven't received it yet. Quickmail messages sent through Moodle are currently getting caught in the junk mail filter for some users.
The good news is that you can help "train" the junk mail filter by marking incorrectly flagged messages as "Not Junk".
Outlook for Web:
If you access your »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵ email through your web browser (Firefox, Chrome, Edge, Safari) you can follow these steps.
- Click on the "Junk Email" folder.
- Click on the email message you would like to mark as not junk to select it. The message will highlight.
- Click on "It's not junk" at the top of the email reading pane. The system may ask you to confirm.
- The email message will move to your inbox and the junk mail filter will have gotten a little bit smarter.
