The Business Administration (A.A.) program parallels the freshman and sophomore years
of business studies at a baccalaureate college or university. In addition to providing
a solid background in accounting, economics and core business courses, the program
requires course work in liberal arts and sciences to help students understand themselves
and their society.
Our smaller class sizes, reasonable tuition, flexible online and on campus course
options, and a strong Massachusetts transfer program make this a popular program for
students heading to UMass Isenberg, MCLA, Westfield plus other colleges across the
country.
There's a tremendous need in the marketplace for professionals who know how to manage
the resources of an organization or business in an effective manner. According to
the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment of business and financial operations
occupations is projected to grow 7% through 2028, adding about 591,800 new jobs.
In May 2022, the median annual wage for business and financial occupations was $86,080.
According to data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, those with an associate
degree earn higher median weekly salaries than those with only partial college credit
or less.
In 2020, median weekly earnings for those with a high school diploma were reportedly
$781; by comparison, associate degree holders made weekly median earnings of $938
– marking an 17% increase in salary.
An associate degree can also be a valuable benchmark in your educational journey.
Not only will you have a credential that shows employers what you've already accomplished,
you'll be that much closer to earning a bachelor's degree and pursuing management-level
positions.
